FBI closes in on SEIU, Obama, Chicago mob

Corruption probe snags SEIU bigs in Pay-to-Play
Rod Blagojevich's lawyers want the FBI to give up details of interviews conducted last year of President Obama, his chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, White House adviser Valerie Jarrett and others as part of the investigation into the former governor.

In a Friday filing, Blagojevich attorneys also asked for information regarding first lady Michelle Obama. However, a source said late Friday that the FBI never interviewed the first lady.

Rod Blagojevich's lawyers want the FBI to give up details of interviews conducted last year with President Obama, Michelle Obama, Valerie Jarrett and Rahm Emanuel. A source said Friday, the FBI never interviewed the first lady.

Then-President-elect Obama, Emanuel and Jarrett sat down with the FBI about a year ago -- just after Blagojevich was arrested on charges of trying to sell Obama's recently vacated Senate seat to the highest bidder.

Obama revealed he was interviewed in a report he made public last December.

The defense request, filed in federal court, asks for "notes, transcripts and reports" of interviews with the Obamas, Emanuel, Jarrett and SEIU union chiefs Thomas Balanoff and Andy Stern.

We don't need no stinkin' worker-choice
Wisconsin schools will be required to teach the history of organized labor under a bill signed by Gov. Jim Doyle. The bill Doyle signed Thursday also requires Wisconsin schools to teach the history of collective bargaining.

The proposal has been around for years but never passed. This year it cleared the Democratic controlled Legislature despite opposition from school boards and administrators who said they didn't want the curriculum micromanaged. Labor unions supported the bill.

Doyle said in a statement that he was happy to sign the bill so students would understand the importance of the labor movement in creating basic workplace rights.

Obama: We don't need no stinkin' non-union labor

Union thugs enslave corrupt gov't to coercive ends

President Barack Obama's efforts to transition the Department of Labor into a giant, taxpayer-funded extension of Big Labor's organizing and political fund-raising machine just hit another milestone. President Barack Obama's January 30, 2009 executive order, aimed to help union bosses seize more forced dues revenue to fund Big Labor’s political agenda, was just printed in the Federal Register -- making it official.

In a nutshell, the EO tears down posted notices to employees of federal contractors which explain they can actually refrain from paying forced union dues spent for union electioneering and the like.

Obama's directive intends to ensure millions of workers do not learn of their rights and revokes former-President Bush's February 2001 executive order which required federal contractors to post notices in the workplace simply informing employees of their right to refrain from formal, full-dues-paying union membership and pay only the documented cost of collective bargaining.

National Right to Work Foundation attorneys won these rights in their precedent-setting U.S. Supreme Court victory in Communication Workers v. Beck (1988).

Regular Freedom@Work readers may remember Obama's edict was one of the first in a long line of political paybacks to Big Labor for their use of over a billion forced-dues dollars in 2008 to elected him and his pro-compulsory unionism allies in Congress. View some other Obama paybacks to Big Labor, including his picks on who controls the Department of Labor and the NLRB, rolling back union disclosure guidelines and reducing union boss accountability, and using taxpayer dollars to fund their forced dues operations and bail out union boss pension funds.

Meet shameless Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL)

Felon hubby prog Robert Creamer designed Obama blueprint for social-justice fraud
A senior Democratic operative who defrauded banks in order to keep his Marxist community organization afloat is behind an influential book called Stand Up Straight: How Progressives Can Win which left-wingers say has inspired them in their fight to turn America into socialist Europe.

The felon’s name is Robert Creamer and he’s a disciple of the Marxist founder of community organizing, Saul Alinsky. He’s also the husband of Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.), one of Capitol Hill’s most visible cheerleaders for DMV-style Big Government healthcare. Schakowsky acknowledged in a speech that the Democrats’ “public option will put the private insurance industry out of business and lead to single-payer.”

Creamer founded the radical group Illinois Public Action and this makes him a hero to the left, whose members don’t care that he wrote a series of bad checks to pay his salary and meet other financial demands.

As Glenn Beck noted on his TV show, the left is willing to overlook Creamer’s sins because “The ends justify the means.” Creamer, Beck said, apologized for his crimes, but said he had merely been overzealous in the pursuit of a worthwhile good cause. At his sentencing, Creamer said, “For the rest of my life I will continue to do whatever I can to work for social and economic justice.”

His wife seemed miffed that charges had been laid at all. Sounding inconvenienced, the congresswoman said she was “obviously disappointed that Bob’s sentence included incarceration, but we accept the judge’s decision and look forward to the day that we can finally put this nearly decade-long chapter behind us.” Schakowsky said she was gratified that her husband “has for his entire adult life devoted himself to fighting for a better future for others – he has been a constant crusader for social and economic justice in this country and beyond.”

America: Killed in the 21st century crib

It's probably too late to salvage a nation that was based on liberty
America, what were you expecting when you elected a president who spent his entire career closely associating with America-haters, terrorists, bigots, racists, extremists, and whose legislative career was a far-left liberal who showed not a trace of bipartisanship? Sad to say, we have elected a Rev. Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright think-alike to the White House.

America, what were you expecting from a White House populated by Marxists, socialists, communists, Maoists, radicals, leftists, and America-haters? Shocking to say, we have a gang in the White House with an agenda that includes the destruction of capitalism, of free markets, and of American values.

What kind of character and performance were you expecting from a president who was a disciple of Saul Alinsky, the Chicago Community organizer, whose now infamous book, Rules for Radicals, holds that the ends justify the means, meaning anything goes, including lying through your teeth in the service of a “higher” good, such as a socialized health-care system?

If you haven’t figured it out, Mr. Obama is stacking up one lie after another to sell ObamaCare, you haven’t been paying attention. For example, Mr. Obama lies that everyone can keep their insurance and their doctor if they like them, knowing that the entire health-care delivery system is going to be radically restructured.
