SEIU-ACORN: Social justice fraud perps

Jumbo gov't-union lousy with scam-artists

Who is Kenneth Gladney?

Barely a wrist-slap for typical SEIU hate-crime thugs
Harris Himes, the minister who witnessed Kenneth Gladney's beatdown, cannot believe that only misdemeanor charges were filed against the SEIU thugs who beat, stomped on and kicked black vendor Kenneth Gladney at the Russ Carnahan town hall meeting in August.

Investigators probe union-backed political fraud

A powerful group calling itself the 'Working Families Party' has troubling connections to ACORN
The Working Families Party has irregularly reported rent payments over the years on its state campaign finance disclosures, leading some to question whether the Party has been getting what could be considered large in-kind contributions in the form of office space.

Also among the recipients of rent payments was an entity called NYOSCI, listed on multiple documents as having an address in New Orleans identical to one used by many ACORN entities on incorporation documents.

NYOSCI has been the recipient of most of the Party’s recent rent payments, though some have also been made to Community Labor Administrative Services, a group also reporting the 2-4 Nevins Street address on records with the State Board of Elections. Rent does not seem to be Community Labor Administrative’s main purpose: not only has the entity received funding from SEIU and the Amalgamated Transit Union Fund for New York, but the company consulted for the 2005 Council campaigns of Jessica Lappin and Dan Garodnick, the 2003 Council campaign of Robert Jackson, the 2001 Council campaigns of Hiram Monserrate and James Sanders, the 2001 comptroller campaign of Bill Thompson and the 2001 mayoral campaign of Mark Green.

Alinsky Rules guide Obama Administration

Our form of government is under siege

Now that Barack Obama is president, a soft tyranny has taken over our representative republic. We see it in his governing by executive fiat and his political party's supermajority control of Congress. Their elitist (they know what is best for us) statism (concentrating excessive economic and political controls in the state) has led to unprecedented government intrusion.

And now our elected representatives are trying to impose a government controlled national health care system on us. Despite Congress's dismal 14 percent approval rating and the fact that over 80 percent of the public is satisfied with their current health insurance coverage, our all-knowing leaders still persist in doing so.

More troubling than the proposals themselves are the insidious means by which they are being promoted. The president is lying to us. He tells us he is not in favor of a government takeover of our health care system but wants a "public option" to provide more competition for the pricing of health insurance. He is on the record telling the AFL-CIO in 2003 and the SEIU in 2007 that he favored a single-payer system.

Instead of adhering to the constitution they swore to uphold, these leaders seem to be guided by Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals," (i.e.: how to lie effectively); George Orwell's "1984" (i.e.: Big Brother -- omnipotent oppressive government) and his "Animal Farm" (i.e.: elitists' hypocrisy).

They have either forgotten or have chosen to ignore the fact that we are a republic of citizen legislators.

D.C.’s Anti-Capitalist strategy exposed

Cloward-Piven: Ending the failed policies of the past
Most Americans are unaware of the strategies and tactics being used today to destroy America’s free enterprise economic system by radical leftists in our government.

This is understandable because America’s President and Congress – including government bureaucrats all the way down to representatives in municipal government – are using these strategies and tactics, knowingly or unknowingly, to undermine the very economic principles that have made America the most successful economy on the planet.

The strategies are those of Cloward-Piven, two Columbia University sociology professors Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, who, frustrated by the inability to turn America into a socialist state, decided to promote a strategy to force political and economic change through orchestrated crisis. They first advanced this strategy in an article titled "The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty" in the May 2, 1966 issue of The Nation.

Their article, according to DiscoverTheNetworks.org:
... called for "cadres of aggressive organizers" to use "demonstrations to create a climate of militancy." Intimidated by threats of black violence, politicians would appeal to the federal government for help. Carefully orchestrated media campaigns, carried out by friendly, leftwing journalists, would float the idea of "a federal program of income redistribution," in the form of a guaranteed living income for all -- working and non-working people alike. Local officials would clutch at this idea like drowning men to a lifeline. They would apply pressure on Washington to implement it. With every major city erupting into chaos, Washington would have to act.

This was an example of what are commonly called Trojan Horse movements -- mass movements whose outward purpose seems to be providing material help to the downtrodden, but whose real objective is to draft poor people into service as revolutionary foot soldiers; to mobilize poor people en masse to overwhelm government agencies with a flood of demands beyond the capacity of those agencies to meet. The flood of demands was calculated to break the budget, jam the bureaucratic gears into gridlock, and bring the system crashing down. Fear, turmoil, violence and economic collapse would accompany such a breakdown -- providing perfect conditions for fostering radical change.

Stimulus: Legalized collectivism?

We don't need no stinkin' 10th Amendment

Throughout this decade, under Presidents Bush and Obama, economic "stimulus" packages have similarly been foisted on the U.S. economy by a federal government possessing nothing not already taxed or borrowed from the private sector. Nothing in the Constitution mentions "economic growth" as one of the federal government's powers--the founders knew that with freedom came economic growth--but politicians being politicians, they've never let economic crises of their own making go to waste--Constitution be damned.

Where simple spending is considered, Washington's disdain for the Constitution becomes even more unsettling. As the Heritage Foundation's Brian Riedl recently noted in the Washington Times, federal spending includes $2.6 million for the training of "Chinese prostitutes to drink more responsibly on the job," $3.9 million for the SEC to rearrange "desks and offices at its Washington headquarters" and nearly $1 million for the shipping of "two 19-cent washers from South Carolina to Texas," along with the improper use of government credit cards for the purchase of goods including "lingerie, iPods, XBoxes, jewelry, Internet dating services and Hawaiian vacations."

Clearly none of this wasteful spending was needed for the federal government to handle the very limited powers enumerated to it by the Constitution, and that was the whole point of the 10th amendment.

Meet Gary Johnson, ex-Gov. of N.M.

Tired of what the gov't is doing to us

'Teabaggers' heap disgrace on leftwingers

IPCC fail ... Google cover-up

Our hopelessly compromised scientific establishment cannot be allowed to get away with the Climategate whitewash.

A week after my colleague James Delingpole , on his Telegraph blog, coined the term "Climategate" to describe the scandal revealed by the leaked emails from the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit, Google was showing that the word now appears across the internet more than nine million times. But in all these acres of electronic coverage, one hugely relevant point about these thousands of documents has largely been missed.

The reason why even the Guardian's George Monbiot has expressed total shock and dismay at the picture revealed by the documents is that their authors are not just any old bunch of academics. Their importance cannot be overestimated.

What we are looking at here is the small group of scientists who have for years been more influential in driving the worldwide alarm over global warming than any others, not least through the role they play at the heart of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
