Expert terms Obama fascistic, dictatorial ... Almost a year after Mr. Obama's election as President, with the sworn duty to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, his administration continues the unconstitutional policies of declaring human beings as "enemies" and detaining them without rights for as long as they so dictate (as in dictatorship). As a teacher for US Government classes, I can tell you that this is un-American in every academic understanding of what Americanism means. We have other words to describe a political philosophy of unlimited government that rejects inalienable civil and political rights: dictatorship and fascism are academically correct. (examiner.com)

Who is FOB Wade Rathke? ... ACORN founder Wade Rathke didn't have a problem with domestic terrorists trying to kill delegates at the Republican Party's national convention in 2008, former radical community organizer Brandon Darby suggests at Andrew Breitbart's new website Big Government. Darby, who got to see how the ACORN crime syndicate operates up close in New Orleans, writes that after he acknowledged that he helped the FBI foil a plot to attack the RNC convention in Minnesota Rathke denounced him on his blog. Darby writes: "What does any of this have to do with ACORN? I wondered the same thing on January 31st of 2009 when I was reading an ACORN blog that is run by Wade Rathke (the man who claims credit for founding ACORN). He devoted an entire page to my work with the FBI. How did he describe the FBI's effort and success in preventing innocent Americans, local police and federal agents from being burned, maimed and/or possibly killed by firebombs?" He wrote that it's "one thing to disagree, but it's a whole different thing to rat on folks. That is what ACORN's founder had to say about my role in stopping a bomb plot." Indeed Rathke did write that. He described Darby as "an FBI-informer who had fingered some folks for mayhem designed for the Republican National Convention in 2008 in the Twin Cities." Added Rathke, "It seemed so, how should I say it, sixties?" (spectator.org)
Anti-socialists mass, plague Obamunism ... Protesters marched on the U.S. Capitol on Saturday, airing a wide range of grievances rooted in a shared sentiment: seething anger at President Obama and his far-reaching agenda. Led by a fife and drum corps in period costumes, the demonstrators filled Pennsylvania Avenue and swarmed the Capitol grounds with a sea of bobbing placards and hand-lettered signs that spelled out a catalog of dissent. There were antiabortion protesters and term-limit advocates. Critics of financial bailouts and the federal investigation into CIA interrogation techniques. Marchers who were worried about rekindling inflation and upset about the soaring national debt. Pickets opposed to Obama's healthcare reform plan and challenging the legitimacy of his election. "Is This Russia?" one sign said. "Traitors Terrorists Run Our Government," read another. "Don't blame me. I voted for The 'American,'" a third stated. (latimes.com)
The rise of Czarist Obamunism ... Twelve months later, in March 2009, President Obama had appointed several dozen "czars," enabling him to make end-runs on a slew of major issues on which he can totally ignore Congress. The theory of checks and balances is at extreme risk and is being replaced by supreme rulers with unfettered power. Let's start with the foreign policy czars -- for closing the detainee camp at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, for the Sudan, the Mideast and Afghanistan. There's one for weapons and another for weapons of mass destruction. Such czars aren't cheap. Each has to have an office, an assistant, clerical help, a car and a driver, and the special secure BlackBerry for instant presidential access. And certainly some of them also have to have "keepers" -- a polite term for a security detail. (pittsburghlive.com)
Shame on oppressive union-backed, tax-funded fraud group ... Though the majority of residents either hadn’t heard of ACORN or simply disagreed with their politics- ACORN insisted that they were THE Black leaders. This was upsetting to me. Sure, the local pastor we worked most closely with was Black; but that didn’t matter to ACORN. It was as if Pastor Johnson didn’t count because he didn’t evoke the name of Elijah Mohammed or Malcolm X. It was as if Pastor Johnson didn’t count because he didn’t submit to ACORN’s mandate that ACORN was the sole leadership of Black New Orleanians. As then director of Common Ground Relief’s 9th Ward project, I was warned by many that ACORN would ruin me politically if I didn’t submit to their leadership. I believed in what I was doing and how I was doing it. I refused to submit. The political fallout was almost unbearable. I just kept my eyes on meeting the needs of the community. When confronted by adherents to ACORN’s brand of race analysis, I pointed out that ACORN was not there immediately after the storm, so I could not have sought their leadership even if I had wanted to. ACORN cracked open ... The employees advised O'Keefe and Giles on how they could disguise their business to make it look legitimate for tax purposes and then obtain a mortgage for the housing. Furthermore, the ACORN employees went on to discuss how to run the business and how to deal with authorities if discovered. They also said that the underage girls could be claimed as dependants on Giles tax return. This was exposed to the public when the videos were put on www.biggovernment.com, a website produced by Andrew Breitbart, Conservative commentator and media guru. The result was the firing of four ACORN employees. Two from the organization's DC office and two in the Baltimore office. Yesterday, the organization was also disengaged of its duties to aid in the 2010 Census. ACORN is also currently under investigation in fourteen states. (examiner.com)
MSM mum as ACORN bounced from U.S. Census ... The announcement comes on the heels of major news releases implicating the union-backed radical group, made famous last year for attempted voter registration fraud, to further wrong doing. On Wednesday of last week Florida prosecutors arrested 11 ACORN employees for falsifying information on over 900 voter registration forms. Making matters worse for both the Census Bureau and ACORN, was the release this week of two bombshell videos highlighting ACORN. The videos showing ACORN personnel and undercover investigative reporters, catching the community organization's personnel explaining ways to break countless finance laws, defraud the IRS and legally participate in child-prostitution in both Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC ACORN offices. The breaking news was reported by the Wall Street Journal and Fox News, while MSNBC, CNBC, NBC, CBS and ABC all failed to report the story. (examiner.com)
Obama-Steelworkers union P2P irritates China ... President Obama earned his union stripes with his decision to level tariffs on Chinese tire imports into the United States. Some big questions remain: will the Chinese retaliate? Will the action actually save American jobs? And perhaps most importantly for the White House, will conceding to the Union – a major campaign supporter – help in the President’s push for health care reform? In a late Friday night announcement, the White said the President would,” remedy the clear disruption to the U.S. tire industry based on the facts and the law in this case,” by imposing a a 35% duty on passenger vehicle and light truck tires. The United Steel Workers Union, which represents US tire workers, won an International Trade Commission (ITC) ruling that called for 3 years of tariffson Chinese made tires, starting at 55% and falling by 10% each of the next two years. Shame on Obama-SEIU thug ... Meet Elston K. McCowan. He’s the Public Service Director of Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 2000, and a Baptist minister, in St. Louis. He is also one of the thugs arrested for allegedly beating Kenneth Gladney after the Russ Carnahan town hall meeting in St. Louis last month. After his arrest, McGowan said Gladney, who is half his size, actually attacked him. He insists he was the victim, and he has now filed for worker’s compensation. He claims he was injured, while on the clock. (examiner.com)

Shame on militant, illegal teacher-strikers ... It's day 16 of the strike and both the teachers and the district continue to negotiate without a resolution anywhere in sight. This afternoon, anxious parents faced off at a street corner in Covington. On one side of the street the Kent Parents Coalition encouraged drivers to support the teachers' cause. "We are not for some outlandish, unreasonable teacher strike. We are for a quality education," said parent Charles Allen. Across the street parents and students rallied to bring the teachers back into the classroom. Robert Gurr spent the afternoon holding a sign urging teachers to end their strike. "I don't understand how they can do that in this economy," he said. "I am out of work personally. I am looking for work. They should be very glad they have a job because there are many teachers who don't." (nwcn.com)

Superior St. Another picket line formed Friday evening outside The Drake, 140 E. Walton Pl. The workers' union, Unite Here Local 1, called the rallies to protest what it called unsatisfactory negotiations after the Aug. 31 expiration of a contract that covered about 6,000 hotel employees in downtown Chicago. Hugo's Big New Prog Adventure ... Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez's diplomatic favors to Iran and Russia this week show an unabated desire to undermine Washington's global reach, despite his praise for US President Barack Obama. During a 10-day tour of friends and allies in the Middle East and Europe, Chávez hugged Libya's leader Muammar Gaddafi, compared Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to Lenin and shared a red carpet at a film festival in Venice with Oliver Stone, the US filmmaker who has made a sympathetic movie portrait of Chávez. In Italy he praised Obama, whose hand he shook in April. Then he jabbed at Washington with a vow to break a potential gasoline embargo on Tehran and provocatively recognized the independence of Georgian breakaway states backed by Russia. "The Yankee empire will fall," Chávez, who supporters see as taking over from Cuba's Fidel Castro as Latin America's "anti-imperialist" champion, told foreign students in Moscow. (kuwaittimes.net)
