Obama: Puts down seniors, polarizer-in-chief deploys heathcare thugs, spends without limit, pimps socialism, cultures corruption.

Mismanagement: SEIU-ACORN thugs deployed to Town Halls, Constitution replaced by Alinksy's Rules for Radicals, ACORN probe sheds light.

International: Obama hearts Hugo, Obama hearts Europe.

ObamaCare hits us where we hurt ... Several hundred citizens, virtually all of them of mid- to late-middle age, showed up at Bernard Middle School in Mehlville Thursday evening. Judging by their behavior, their object was to display their scorn and shout down U.S. Rep. Russ Carnahan, D-St. Louis. Mr. Carnahan had organized a forum on health care and services for the elderly. He lined up a series of speakers to discuss various aspects of the issue. The protesters, though, were intent on chanting slogans and raising a ruckus displaying their opposition to health care reform legislation pending in Congress. (stltoday.com)

Divider-in-Chief: Polarization is my friend ... The Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows that strong supporters of Obama are growing again -- from 28% to 34% in the last week, now at highest level since June 24. I think this reflects two things: the stock market boom and the reaction of Obama supporters to the reports of town hall anti-obama protestors. The country is getting very polarized, very fast. Thomas Lifson adds: Obama, a disciple of Saul Alinsky, probably relishes the polarization. He pushes a radical agenda, and mobilizes his forces to fire up and “punch back twice as hard.” He thrived on confrontation as a community organizer, and that is where his instincts apparently lie. Obama calls out the brownshirts ... An organization supported by Obama, Biden and 190 members of Congress, Health Care for America Now, instructs Democrats to confiscate signs and leaflets brought to Obamacare events by “rightwing extremists,” that is to say Americans opposed to totalitarian health care. HCAN is supported by the usual suspects, including ACORN, unions, MoveOn.org (a George Soros outfit), the National Council of La Raza, the eugenics front Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and the Clintonite John Podesta’s war-mongering Center for American Progress. HCAN will organize brownshirt thugs — called “marshals” — to patrol crowds with local police assistance to make sure no opposition can be voiced. “Make sure that you assign marshals to take care of moving the crowd, keeping people organized and orderly, and acting as security should any need arise to ask noisy or disruptive protesters to leave. If you have cause to think that you will need more back-up, notify the police ahead of time.” (prisonplanet.com)

Obama-Dems drive U.S. off the cliff ... The US budget deficit reached 1.3 trillion dollars for the current fiscal year in July, official data showed, news set to fuel opposition to US President Barack Obama’s ambitious health care and climate change proposals. The deficit for the first 10 months of fiscal year 2009, which began October 1, reached 1.3 trillion dollars, close to 880 billion dollars greater than the deficit recorded through July 2008, said the US Congressional Budget Office (CBO). Outlays rose by almost 530 billion dollars, or 21 percent, and revenues fell by more than 350 billion dollars, or 17 percent, compared with the amounts recorded during the same period last year, the non-partisan CBO said. Obamunists Strike Back ... A crowd of more than 500 against Obama’s health care tried to attend cowardly Castor’s town hall scheduled in room designed two hundred. Tractor sized bouncers (union thugs) manhandled the overflow crown, injuring several. White House Deputy Chief of staff, Jim “Mad Dog” Messina, was quoted as White House aides gave Senate Democrats a recess battle plan on Thursday, arming the lawmakers with tips on how to fight back against their constituents, "If you get hit, we will punch back twice as hard!” Eyewitnesses report SEIU/Acorn members roughing up seniors, pushing little-old-ladies against the wall and literally tearing a man's shirt. Obama-Dems: New Prog thugs ... I never would have expected it to happen this quickly, but after several health care town hall meetings where concerned constituents asked questions and challenged Democrat congressmen over their support of health care legislation, the Democrats have struck back with violence. When packing the halls with picked supporters failed to silence opposition and smear campaigns about "astroturf" and fictional corporate organizers didn't discredit genuine grassroots protest, on Thursday they decided to send in the thugs. Town halls in St. Louis and Tampa were marred by forced exclusion of constituents and disrupted by violence against protesters from uniformed members of the Service Employees International Union, a group which has a history of staging protests with paid agitators and engaging in organized intimidation and violence. In Tampa, the purple-shirted SEIU thugs allowed only handpicked attendees into the hall to speak with Rep. Kathy Castor, excluding over 1500 local residents who had waited peacefully in line for hours. When a few activists got in and tried to videotape the meeting, they were forcibly ejected, and at least one man was injured in the process. (blogcritics.org)

We are being pimped! ... Town hall meetings on health care across the nation have turned into shouting matches. Democrats charge the outbursts are part of a conservative campaign to stop health care reform in its tracks. Republicans claim people are just angry at the Obama Administration's plans for health care. But now, labor unions -- including in Minnesota -- say they are mobilizing their members to attend testy town halls to make sure the pro-health care message is heard. A YouTube video of U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison's (DFL-Minn.) event last Saturday has been viewed nearly 64,000 times. It's a video focusing on opponents who showed up to oppose health care reform. "We are being pimped! And we are being used!" said one unidentified opponent at the town meeting. "And they (the government) are not going to get any it better taking care of your life!" (wcco.com)

Getting to know Rules for Radicals ... Based on the turnout and anger displayed at Tea Parties and Townhall meetings, it looks like many folks are now ready to fight back. To make that fight effective, it is important to know the enemy and how they fight. The enemy is the far left and their principal weapon is radicalism. Radicalism is doing what ever is necessary to seize power. The affect of radicalism is that debate that once focused on the issues is now focused on individuals. Fear mongering, ad hominem attacks, and intimidation have replaced data and logic as the tools of persuasion. Unfortunately, this shift to radicalism is slowly but surely destroying our society and threatening our liberty. Radicalism has its roots in the 1971 book, Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky. According to Alinsky, the main job of the organizer is to bait an opponent into reacting. “The enemy properly goaded and guided in his reaction will be your major strength.” Although a complete review of Alinsky’s rules is beyond the scope of this column, I will highlight a few of his “rules” so that you can see exactly how destructive radicalism is (parenthetical comments are mine). Culture of Corruption Exposed ... Those of us paying attention before the election found it difficult to reconcile Barack Obama's oft repeated promises that he would run a completely transparent, honest, post-partisan administration, one that was not beholden to lobbyists or any other special interest groups, with his actual past practices and associations. A guy whose bestest buddies included his own opportunistic wife, Chicago consigliere Valerie Jarrett, pit bull and money man Rahm Emanuel, unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers, and the entire Daley political machine didn't seem likely to abandon that modus operandi just because he switched to a larger venue. Immediately after Obama's inauguration, the doom-and-gloom contingent started seeing their worst fears realized. Even the most minimal due diligence revealed that those people he wanted closest to him were bedeviled by histories of tax problems, nepotism, pay-for-play scandals, political bullying and, in one case, garden-variety shoplifting. The organizations he champions are no better. (americanthinker.com)

Investigators probe union-backed, tax-funded fraud group ... A mountain of paperwork detailing extensive, apparently credible allegations of wage and labor law violations against ACORN was received this week by investigators on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. A source with intimate knowledge of the allegations who asked not to be identified said 200 documents were delivered to congressional investigators. Republican investigators on that committee found a fortnight ago that by "intentionally blurring the legal distinctions between 361 tax-exempt and non-exempt entities, ACORN diverts taxpayer and tax-exempt monies into partisan political activities." They recommended that ACORN be stripped of its jealously guarded tax-exempt status because it illegally spends taxpayer dollars on partisan activities, commits "systemic fraud," and violates racketeering and election laws. ACORN is deeply involved in the labor movement. (spectator.org)

International Collectivism

Obama working hard to please Hugo Chávez ... President Barack Obama said on Friday that he has no quick way to resolve the political crisis in Honduras, where supporters of a coup are refusing to let ousted President Manuel Zelaya return to power. Obama told reporters he still supports the reinstatement of Zelaya, who was overthrown in June, but that the United States would not take unilateral action. "I can't press a button and suddenly reinstate Mr Zelaya," Obama said. Obama has canceled $16.5 million in military aid to Honduras and has condemned Zelaya's removal, as have Latin American governments and the European Union. The United States, Honduras' longtime ally and top trading partner, has withdrawn diplomatic visas from key members of the de facto government in a bid to force Zelaya's reinstatement. Obama hearts Europe ... The popular "cash-for-clunkers" program that has encouraged consumers in Europe and the U.S. to trade in their old cars for newer and more efficient models was born in December 2008 when French President Nicolas Sarkozy unveiled a euro26 billion ($37.36 billion) stimulus plan to help the country ward off a recession. To date, 11 countries in Europe offer similar plans. (washingtonexaminer.com)
