The Left Bares H8 For Tradition

We don't need no stinkin' American experience

The assault on the Constitution and our Founding Principles has accelerated. Americans seem to be assailed by Marxist/Progressive propaganda at every turn. The most serious threat to our God-given rights currently, is the attack being mounted on the Second Amendment by the Progressive Left.

They worked hard to manufacture a crisis with the Fast & Furious project which, to their disappointment, was exposed for the corrupt scandal it was before it could be leveraged to generate the outrage they hoped for. Their prayers for violence and horror, however, were answered. Using ginned up hysteria from convenient, current mass shootings and the slaughter of children – they never let a crisis go to waste.

The Marxists see an opening to gut the Constitution and they are making their move. We dare not passively wait to be stripped of our rights.

America’s liberties are being methodically beaten and pummeled from front and back. Virtually all of our Constitutional rights are under siege. If the administration gets its way, gun prohibition will spawn new speakeasies and black markets.

Our prisons will fill up with those whose religious rights are violated under Obamacare, those who won’t relinquish their guns, people who are subjected to illegal search and seizure, as well as surveillance and on and on, while we struggle to understand “what we did to deserve this.”

Meanwhile, Obama will release into the populace the real criminals, causing more violence and chaos. “For our own good,” of course. Obama will keep pushing Cloward and Piven and collapse the financial system. He will encourage “localized” Shariah law and pull more and more of the Muslim Brotherhood into our government.

Massive amnesty for illegal immigrants is also in the political cards. Yes, it will hurt employment and wages, but we probably “had it coming.”

For those who think I am an alarmist, you better take a long, hard look at what is happening. It is right in front of you. The systems are being overwhelmed with so many small fires, they cannot all be extinguished and anyone who tries will fail from exhaustion. It is the Soros school of regime change.

BigGov Takes Care Of Its Own

We all pay to grease the corrupt Ruling Class revolving door
Some of the jobs in the mix include positions that opened up just this week, including at the American Gaming Association and the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA). Other major jobs include the top spots at the American Hotel & Lodging Association, the American Wind Energy Association and the Fertilizer Institute.

There is plenty of talent for the groups to choose from. More than 80 House members and senators were defeated in their election bids or retired last Congress, and many of them are eager to continue their careers in Washington.

“Given the number of members of Congress retiring this year, there's a great deal of interest on their part in these association roles and wanting to stay in Washington,” said Nels Olson of Korn/Ferry International.

Korn/Ferry is an executive search firm and is looking for candidates for the American Gaming Association and the American Hotel & Lodging Association, among others.

Other trade groups’ pay packages for their chief executives aren’t as hefty, but are still substantial.

As head of the wind energy group, Denise Bode took in close to $550,000 in compensation for 2010. Joe McInerney, whose contract is up in September for the hotel industry trade group, earned more than $440,000 in compensation for 2010. Ford West, who is leaving the Fertilizer Institute at the end of 2013, earned more than $400,000 in compensation for 2010.

Working for any of the trade groups would be a big pay hike for ex-lawmakers. House members and senators earned $174,000 in annual salary last year.

The American Gaming Association job is expected to attract intense interest from ex-members. The chance to be the casinos’ point person in Washington and make regular trips to Las Vegas could be a major selling point.

“You get to do the Vegas thing. That's cool,” said Ivan Adler, a principal at the McCormick Group. “Casinos are sexy. That's the ‘it’ job in Washington at the moment. The Strip is a lot better place to hang out than on Wall Street.”

Corrupt Union Thugs ❤ Hard-Prog Rule

Obama surrogates look out for #1
There can be riches in standing up for the working class: The Boilermakers union president earned $506,000, plus hundreds of thousands of dollars more for travel expenses, while the Laborers union president made $441,000. The Transportation Communications Union leader made $300,000, bumped up to $750,000 with business expenses.

Patrick W. Flynn makes $435,000 a year in his capacity as treasurer of a 13,600-member Teamsters union local, and the $30,000 in business expenses he collects on top of costs associated with carrying out his duties around Mokena, Ill., approach that of a typical worker’s entire salary.

The average union member has no idea how much the leaders make, said Stanley Oubre, a retired Boilermaker in Louisiana — and can hardly relate.

“We don’t talk to newspaper reporters. Don’t call back here,” a staffer at the union’s full-time office said last week before hanging up the phone.

Despite unions’ focus on income equality, the division between the highest-paid and lowest-paid union employees has grown over time, and the rank-and-file workers toiling in factories and construction sites that the union officers represent especially pale in comparison with the top officials tasked with representing them.

In 2000, the bottom quarter of full-time employees at union offices, such as administrative assistants at headquarters, made less than $33,900, while the top quarter made more than $65,400. In 2011, the bottom quarter made $45,000 compared with $89,800 for the top quarter.

Among reports for fiscal 2012 submitted so far, the bottom quarter made $49,700 compared with $103,100 for the top quarter, an analysis of union disclosures by The Washington Times indicated.

Progs Put GOP Caucus To Good Use

The Left needs reliable straw-man for crucial demonization ops
We are at that Train Station folks and the train is departing imminently.

Obama is the Conductor on our train, the "Gulag Express." The Republican Caucus appear oblivious and lazy ... in the Dining Car enjoying drinks and dinner, and making unholy compromises with evil. The rest of us are in steerage munching on free peanuts and bottled water.

When we get to the next station, Socialist America, we will change cars. Those deemed dissenters will be moved to the cattle cars, decoupled and placed on another track ... awaiting another engine to take them to a "resettlement" destination.

The new Americans, the Obama "Middle Class" will inherit our seat and luxuriate in the peanuts and bottled water. The Republican Dining Car will remain for appearances sake [until, like the Bolsheviks did to the Mensheviks] they can be righteously "put away."

Good luck and enjoy the ride while you can.
