It was a foregone conclusion that the nation ignored the White House’s “Jobs Summit” last Thursday. Even the presidents’ allies acknowledged the afternoon confab of friendly CEOs, labor bosses, and economists was a publicity stunt. And so it was.(from humanevents.com)
But if you watched cable news at all that day, you probably saw live interviews of administration officials repeating a new and not unwelcome talking point from the Obama White House. Both the vice president and president made the point in their opening remarks.
Obama: “While I believe that government has a critical role in creating the conditions for economic growth, ultimately true economic recovery is only going to come from the private sector.”
Biden: “[The government] can help create the conditions that make for a stronger economy, make a stronger economy possible. But it's you, all of you in this audience here, who are in the position to make it a reality.”
Obama is not a socialist. He's not even a Democrat — he's a Marxist. He follows Saul Alinsky's “Rules for Radicals” to the letter (read it to know what's coming next) and will create one-party rule in the U.S. Then crisis after crisis will nationalize production in America. In 11 months Obama has used a recession to take over our two largest industries and debase the dollar.(from theunion.com)
Soon he will take over the energy industry. He is increasing the money supply which will cause Venezuela-style inflation. We will lose our Republic and slip into repression and tyranny.
There is a growing number of conservative citizens in the U.S. who believe in God, small government, the Second Amendment, etc., who are loyal to the Constitution and forming into groups out of anger and desperation. These fragmented groups are ready to fight to shut down the government's grab of personal freedom, its blatant abuse of the Constitution and its attempt to replace the American way of life with socialism/communism.
Sometime in the next two years, when the government does the unthinkable, they will come together. Hopefully, from the chaos that will result, we will emerge a stronger, smarter country.

The History Channel is “making history” by airing “The People Speak,” a film based on the book by historian – and Marxist – Howard Zinn. More on Zinn in a minute.
A number of actors who wish to be more than just pretty faces are behind this effort, including Wallace Shawn (”Inconceivable!“), Colin Firth and Marisa Tomei, all who serve on “The People Speak’s” board of advisers. Those enlightened thespians who are more active in bringing this project to life are:
Howard Zinn, Josh Brolin, Chris Moore and Matt Damon
Matt Damon: Serving as producer, Damon is no stranger to political theatrics. An extremely vocal critic of former President George W. Bush and the Iraq war, he said that it’s “not fair that we have a fighting class in our country that’s comprised of people who have to go for ... financial reasons” and suggested that the Bush twins should be shipped off to war because their daddy started it. Should we bring back the draft? Then actors like Damon, with cushy jobs and big salaries, could help out the poor suckers who have no choice. He also “let out a cheer” when Kanye West claimed that George Bush hates black people.

The White House gate-crashers plan to plead the Fifth Amendment if they are subpoenaed to appear on Capitol Hill about the security breach.
Reality-TV hopefuls Michaele and Tareq Salahi said through their lawyer yesterday that the House Homeland Security Committee has drawn premature conclusions about the Nov. 24 incident, when they got into a state dinner without being on an approved guest list.
The committee plans to vote today to subpoena the couple to testify.

Many advocates of health-care reform are admirers of Canada's state-run, no-opt-out, single-payer system. Indeed, in 2003, President Barack Obama voiced enthusiasm for such a health-care program.
Proponents of Canadian-style health care should meet Cheryl Baxter, a Canadian citizen who waited years for hip-replacement surgery, only to be told that her operation would not happen any time soon. Instead of waiting, Baxter did what an increasing number of Canadians are doing: She flew to a clinic in the United States, paid out of pocket, and had a life-altering surgery in a matter of weeks rather than years.
Why some patients need to go to the U.S. for surgery
